The West Mallee Protection 4x4 group is focused on the true conservation of the Yellabinna Regional Reserve and the Pureba Conservation Park near Ceduna on the Far West coast of South Australia. We are dedicated to the health of this environment, its people, history and getting there. The 4x4 group shares mechanical knowledge and four-wheel driving skills.

Our members come from diverse backgrounds, a range of age groups and we run projects to give people a unique remote experience that enhances cross-cultural understanding and fosters practical conservation, even if you don’t own a 4X4.

Aims:

• To work/take action towards entire protection of the Yellabinna Regional Reserve, the Yumbarra Conservation Park and the Pureba Conservation Park.
• To support the Kokatha Mula Nation FWDAC.
• To promote the ecological values of the land and advocate for its protection.
• To fundraise and hold events.
• To have clubs/members nation-wide.
